I recently caught up with a friend I had lost touch with for over 20 years. He is a brilliant man full of contagious excitement, yet destitute and living in a homeless shelter. We sat down for a meal and conversation, which quickly revealed that he is stuck in an Alpha/Beta struggle. Turns out he has an identical set of twin sisters older than him, and an identical set of twin sisters younger than him. He also lost a sibling. I couldn't tell offhand if this friend is a womb twin survivor himself, or if he picked up the imprinting & dynamics from those around him (ala Haunted Womb Syndrome), but he is living a cycle of self sabotage that doesn't match the alpha energy in him.
When I told this friend about Womb Twin, a bell went off and his mind went to work immediately connecting the dots. Just then, the people at the next table got up to leave. The man leaned over and said "Excuse me, I didn't mean to eavesdrop but I lost a twin when I was born and what you were saying makes a lots of sense" He then looked at his companion saying "She's always trying to get me to work on this" as the woman nodded her head in agreement. I urged him to look into it and gave him my card.
Earlier in the week I had a dental cleaning with a hygienist that seemed to "merge" with me when she cleaned my teeth. It's like she was feeling everything I felt and was very connected in a way no other hygienist has ever been. When she complimented me on the colors of my outfit, black white and yellow - the womb twin logo colors, she remarked they were her favorite colors. I couldn't resist pulling out my womb twin business card featuring those colors. When I told her about it, she reacted as if I was speaking her language. She agreed like a twin would. She then said she wasn't sure if she was a twin but held up her hand to show me the scar where a sixth digit was removed. A sure sign that she was an identical twin who absorbed her twin! How did she know to make this connection to her hand if she never discussed twin loss with anyone before? Astonishing what the body remembers!
