SO....last night my husband Ken and I were talking about the fact that me and my twin sis Joy (if she were still here with me) will be 52 on August 27. For the very first time in my life, I am GOING TO CELEBRATE HER with ME....I have placed two purple flowers on my fireplace mantel for the month of August and I have a photo of a candle flame that I have attached to her name.
What I found out, though, is that there was a very HARD step to proceed this ability to invite into my present. I HAD TO MOVE HER OUT OF THE PAST PERCEPTION THAT I WAS KEEPING HER IN !!!!!
I was still holding on to that hope that I will FIND HER somewhere here on earth. SHE IS NOT HERE. She is an angel. It hurt but I let her go. In letting her GO I seem to have FOUND her in some new way. Not sure what all this means yet. VERY VERY NEW FEELINGS but I like the direction this is going. Does this make any sense?

Hello From Jo

I think this speaks to your crossing a healing threshold...bravo! In continuing to make her real, which you still need to do over the shock of discovering her just 2 years ago, you have arrived at a new place with her.
She is no longer the being that was removed from you, she is now free to be an ethereal spirit outside of you. You have a different relationship with her now. Notice this distance you now have and your easing into the ability to let her go...
This is great progress, keep noticing the subtle changes. Fill yourself up with her new memory as needed and continue to practice letting her go too....work it from both sides, after all you are a twin!
This is going to be a special birthday, I can tell!
MonicaMaybe your husband can serve you breakfast in bed on your birthday and you can blow bubbles made from JOY dishwashing soap!
