Laskshmi: the 8 limbed girl on National Geographic

Naional Geographic is airing a show about an Indian girl who had a parasitic twin which gave her the 8-armed appearance of the goddess Lakshmi. The show documents the journey of this beautiful family and their struggle about what to do for their daughter. They proceed with surgical removal of the parasitic twin which is successful in the end. One of the most striking moments, from my womb twin perspective, can be seen at 36:37 when the parasitic parts of the twin are removed and laying on a tray. For the first time, the twins are separated and the parasite has it's own identity composed of dismembered parts. This is the "proof" so many womb twins seek, to see it displayed in such a manner is quite shocking and affirming all at the same time.
