This blog is for Womb Twin Survivors based in the USA. Womb Twin Survivors started life as a twin/multiple in the womb but their twin/multiple died during pregnancy or near birth. If you live in the USA and are a Womb Twin Survivor (or think you are) then this is the blog for you.

Portraits of "Lost Twin Souls" on view at MRY in NYC's Flatiron District
There is a partial exhibition of womb twin paintings on view in NYC. Paintings are for sale and 10% will be donated to Womb Twin research.
Artist Statement
“These portraits of lost twin souls channeled through me onto each canvas. I became a conduit through which the unique energy of lost twins who never made it to our world flowed, rebirthing themselves into abstract/ethereal forms - via oil paint, mineral 'spirits' and glitter. Each portrait has its own personality which informed my choice of color, shape, layering, manipulation and completion. Since many lost womb twins go undetected, these paintings almost serve as family portraits belonging to any of us. The simultaneous use of oil paint and paint remover imparts into the work the duality of existing and not existing, much like the life of a womb twin survivor”.
Could one of these portraits be of your twin?
